ESA CONGRESS 2020 going VIRTUAL
The health and safety of our participants are of the utmost importance for the ESA 2020 organizing committee.
Hence, due to the CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) situation, which still poses a lot of concerns and uncertainty worldwide, we decided to adopt a FULLY VIRTUAL format instead of the in-person event.
The dates and schedule remain totally unchanged.
The registration fees have been adapted accordingly.
We excuse the delay in informing about all the procedure, but we first had to get used to the new congress format and make the changes accordingly.
Here some instructions of how the procedure during the online congress will be.
How will you be able to enter the online platform to assist the talks?
How will the Poster Sessions be?
Participants that will present a poster, will have to upload the poster through the personal area.
An email has been sent with the instructions and it is then when the button in the personal area will be available.
The poster will have to be in JPG. or PNG. Format and not heavier than 3 megas.
On the Data Base, the Posters can be searched either by the title or by the name of the author.
Therefore a list of all presented posters will be uploaded too.
If an assistant wants to ask the author of the poster any questions, this can be realised also.
The author will receive a notification with the question and can answer it by email.
How will be the ORAL Presentations?
We will send soon instructions to the authors that will present the abstract as an Oral Presentation.
A Power Point slide will be given for the presentation.
The presentation has to be 10 minutes long with 5 minutes afterwards for the Q&A round.
You will receive 3 days before the conference start the link and access codes to enter the platform.
